LUSAKA, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- Zambia's representatives in this year's Confederation of African Football (CAF) Confederation Cup, Green Buffaloes on Tuesday bowed out of the tournament after losing on goal aggregate to Egyptian side Al Masry in the preliminary round of the tournament.

Green Buffaloes, who were beaten 4-0 in the first leg last week, needed to score five unanswered goals in order to progress to the first round.

But the Zambia Army-sponsored side only managed to score two goals and allowed the Egyptian side to score another goal, bowing out on a 5-2 aggregate.

During the game played at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka, the Zambian team made a false start by scoring in the 11th minute through midfielder Mike Katiba but Al Masry equalized three minutes later through Ahmed Gomaa.

However the Zambian team managed to go ahead in the 87th minute through Stephen Kabamba.
