MADRID, July 2 (Xinhua) -- Liverpool's Portuguese international forward Diogo Jota and his brother Andre died in the early hours of Thursday morning in a car accident close to the city of Zamora (north-east Spain), according to Spanish authorities.

The 28-year-old was traveling on the A52 road when the Lamborghini sports car they were in went off the road and burst into flames, killing both of the occupants.
