PRAGUE, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- The streets and historic landmarks of Prague have once again come alive with light and digital art as the 13th edition of the Signal Festival opened on Thursday evening.
Running through Sunday, the four-day event features 20 installations that blend contemporary art, technology, and urban space.
This year's theme, "Solutions," marks the conclusion of the curatorial trilogy "Ecosystems" (2023-2025), which explores how artists and technologists can collaborate to find sustainable responses to environmental and social challenges through light, motion, and interactivity.
Among the festival's highlights is a videomapping projection on the Old Town Hall Tower, which for the first time in the event's history serves as a projection surface.
Visitors are encouraged to explore the city on foot to fully experience the immersive nighttime atmosphere.
Since its debut in 2013, the Signal Festival has grown into one of the Czech Republic's most popular cultural events, drawing both local audiences and international visitors eager to see Prague in a new light. ■
