RABAT, June 10 (Xinhua) -- The Moroccan national football team arrived Sunday in the Russian city of Voronezh ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Morocco's football federation announced.

Upon their arrival, the Moroccan team had their first warm-up session in Chaika stadium in Voronezh, some 450km south of Moscow, the Moroccan federation said in a statement.

Morocco defeated Estonia 3-1 in their final pre-tournament friendly on Saturday in the Estonian capital Tallinn.

Morocco will compete in Group B along with Spain, Portugal and Iran.

The north Africans will face Iran on Friday in their World Cup opener before playing Portugal on June 20 and Spain on June 25.
