SOFIA, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Bulgaria's coalition government of the center-right GERB party and the nationalist United Patriots on Friday survived a second no-confidence motion in parliament.

The motion was backed by 104 deputies of the opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, while 131 voted against it.

The BSP filed the no-trust motion Wednesday, accusing the government led by GERB Chairman Boyko Borissov of "failure" in the area of security.

The first no-confidence motion in January, demanded by BSP because of the cabinet's alleged inability to cope with corruption, was backed by 103 deputies, while 131 voted against it.

All no-confidence motions in Bulgaria in the last 28 years have been unsuccessful.
