ISLAMABAD, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan on Thursday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in the southeast Iranian city of Chabahar that killed at least two people and injured 28 others.

"Pakistan strongly condemns terrorist car bomb attack in Chabahar in brotherly neighboring Iran... Pakistan condemns terrorism," Pakistani foreign office spokesman Mohammad Faisal said.

"Concerted efforts are required to uproot it from spreading anywhere and everywhere," the spokesman said on Twitter.

Chabahar lies some 100 km west of the Pakistan border with Iran.
